face design process heads

Thought I would make a post showing how I've been designing faces recently.

When I get started I usually have an idea of what I want but it's a little fuzzy, so I make a few variants to make sure I find the right one. Then, after getting the general face drawn I make a refined sketch. And with that, I can go into making a bunch of different angles and expressions. The rest (colour, shading, cleanup) is extra and is nice to do when I just want to relax.
